I would be able to get Windows 10 for free with my student e-mail so that cost doesn't matter. Bootcamp will be optimised for one specific Windows version, depending on your Mac model & OS. Not worth doing you'd be fighting a license limitation but there are no legitimate ready-made OS X VMs that run natively in Windows.
